Inside the filter
The same MERV 9. Enhanced.
A standard MERV 9 filter, with one layer a regular filter doesn’t have. ZenGUARD™ is bonded right on the media fibres, so the filter holds on to more of what passes through, with no measurable effect on airflow.
Standard MERV 9 media, untreated.
-
Cardboard frame
Rigid kraft board keeps the filter square in the slot.
-
Pleated MERV 9 media
The same media you’d find in a regular MERV 9.
-
ZenGUARD™ coating
Graphene-based, bonded right on the fibres. The one layer a regular filter doesn’t have.
-
Expanded-metal support
Backs the pleats so they hold their shape under airflow.

Infectious aerosol removal, ≈2.6× untreated
MS2 bacteriophage surrogate

vs MERV 13 · school pilot
No measurable airflow impact · Meets ASHRAE 52.2 · NRC-validated · Three peer-reviewed ASHRAE publications
Change schedule
How often to change your filter.
A filter past its date restricts airflow and makes your system work harder. Here’s how often to change yours, based on your home.
Standard schedule
Every 90 days
4 changes a yearFor most homes without pets or special air-quality concerns. Four changes a year keeps air moving and your system running efficiently.
Pets or allergies
Every 60 days
6 changes a yearFur, dander and pollen build up in a filter fast. Changing it every two months keeps air moving and your home fresher.
Smoke, smog or respiratory concerns
Every 30 days
12 changes a yearDuring wildfire season, in smoggy areas, or when someone at home has a respiratory condition, change it every month.
Stay on schedule. Write the change-by date on the frame with the carbon pencil in the box, scan the QR code for an email reminder, or choose a plan so your next filters arrive when they’re due.

Questions.
All questionsWhat does the coating do?
In independent lab testing with the MS2 bacteriophage surrogate, the coated filter removed 42% of infectious aerosols, against 16% for the same filter untreated. Every figure we publish names how it was measured.
How do I find my size?
It’s printed on the frame of the filter you have now: width × height × depth, in inches. Order by that size.
How often do I change it?
Every 90 days for most homes. Every 60 days with pets or allergies, and every 30 days for smoke, smog or respiratory concerns.
Which way does it go in?
Point the airflow arrow on the frame toward the furnace. Air flows from the return duct, through the filter, into the furnace.
